Chris Hoy

Inspirational sports champion, Chris Hoy, began his cycling career on the BMX track at the age of seven and by the time he was fourteen he was the Scottish national champion and ranked in the top ten in the world.

 

Chris is the first Briton since 1908 to win three gold medals in a single Olympic Games, and with 11 World Championship titles and six Olympic golds, is Britain’s most successful Olympic athletes of all time. He retired from competitive cycling in 2013.
