Neil Tennant - Pet Shop Boys

From British editor for Marvel Comics to music journalist to pop star, Neil Tennant, is one half of synth-pop and dance trailblazers, the Pet Shop Boys. Over three decades, the duo have produced era defining singles including Surburbia, West End Girls, It’s a Sin, Always on Mind, Go West, Opportunism (Let’s Make Lots of Money) and What Have I Done to Deserve This?

They’ve performed with Lady Gaga dressed as a porcelain teapot, paid tribute to Alan Turing with a BBC Prom, and composed a soundtrack to the seminal silent film, Battleship Potemkin.

The Pet Shop Boys many accolades include a Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, an Ivor Novello for best International Hit of the Year with West End Girls, and in 2017 they were the recipients of NME’s Godlike Genius Award.

One Hundred Lyrics and a Poem by Neil Tennant will be published in November 2018 by by Faber & Faber.  The book is Neil’s choice of one hundred of his song lyrics plus a short poem.
