Arctic Monkeys

One of the millennium’s biggest bands, the Arctic Monkeys’ first five singles I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor, When the Sun Goes Down, Leave Before The Lights Come On, Brianstorm and Fluorescent Adolescent all hit the UK Top Five.

Their debut album Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not won the 2006 Mercury Prize, and their follow up album, Favourite Worst Nightmare, reached Number One UK Album. Their fourth album, 2011’s Suck It And See also stormed into the UK Albums chart at Number One. They won Best British Band and Best British Album awards at the 2014 Brits.

In 2018, the Arctic Monkeys returned with Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, a sci-fi themed album written by Alex Turner on the piano.
