Grayson Perry

Tuner Prize winning artist Grayson Perry is known for his ceramic vases, tapestries and works featuring his alter ego, Claire.

The colourful surfaces of Perry’s ceramics often serve as a facade for images and messages exploring themes of class, politics and religion.

His most well known works include The Vanity of Small Differences, a series of six large scale tapestries exploring the British obsession with taste and class and A House for Essex, a conceptual holiday home.

Grayson has presented several TV series exploring themes of transvestism, identity, masculinity, and the landmark events surrounding our lives.
