Mark Rylance
David Mark Rylance Waters is a British actor, theatre director and playwright. He was the first artistic director of Shakespeare’s Globe in London, from 1995 to 2005. He has appeared in films including Prospero’s Books, Angels and Insects, Institute Benjamenta, and Intimacy. Last year Rylance won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Rudolf Abel in Bridge of Spies. This year he has starred in Steven Spielberg’s The BFG, a live-action film adaptation of the classic children’s book by Roald Dahl.
