Pablo Zabaleta

Adored by fans and players alike, capped more than 50 times by his national team Argentina, the legendary defender, Pablo Zabaleta was signed by West Ham in 2017. 

Whilst at Manchester City, he was one of the most decorated players ever to wear the blue kit. During his phenomenal nine year stint at the club he made over 300 appearances and was instrumental in helping the club secure two Premier League titles, two League Cups and an FA Cup thus restoring its status as a major force within the Premier League.

As a father of young children, it is almost unthinkable to me that there are kids and families around the world now living on rubbish dumps, trying to survive without access to things that we all take for granted, such as food, water and clothes. I have huge admiration for the work that the Small Steps Project is doing to help those in such desperate need, and I hope that the money raised goes some way to making lives better.”
