Rick Wakeman

Famed for his capes and concept albums, the prog rock keyboards wizard, Rick Wakeman has produced over 90 solo albums.

His early career includes sessions playing on Bowie’s Space Oddity, and songs by T. Rex, Elton John and Cat Stevens. He went onto join the Strawbs in 1970 and Yes the following year.

His most successful albums include, The Six Wives of Henry VIII,  Journey to the Centre of the Earth, White Rock, and The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

In 2017, Wakeman’s Piano Portraits become the first solo piano album ever to reach the UK Top 10.
