Alan Shearer
Widely considered one of the all time best strikers, former player Alan Shearer’s football careers spans two decades playing with Southampton, Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle United, as well as representing England during the 1998 World Cup.
He retired in 2006 after playing 395 matches for Newcastle United. Amongst his many accolades in 2004, he was named by Pelé in the FIFA 100 list of the world’s greatest living players.
Since retiring from professional football, Alan has presented BBC’s Match of the Day.
