Mark Wallinger

Turner Prize winning artist Mark Wallinger’s best known works are his sculptures Ecce Homo for the empty fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square, and State Britain, a recreation of Brian Haw’s protest display outside parliament.

He has described his work as being concerned with “the politics of representation and the representation of politics.”  Through the mediums of painting, sculpture, videos and installation, he explores themes of class and politics.

We’re honoured to have Mark Wallinger make a first time donation to the Small Steps Project with these black leather lace-ups.
